The Pilot's Flight PodLog
Pilots and aviation enthusiasts like to fly, naturally. When they aren't flying, they like to talk about flying. Come join us in the virtual hangar for a little hangar-flying!

Episode 63 is special because it was recorded before a live online audience. Jason Schappert of MzeroA.com invited us to join him in the Underground Aviation Seminar, a 5-night event that focused on different aspects of flight training. We announced some huge news during the event, and had a great time interacting with our live audience.

The audio quality is not up to our normal standards, a side effect of the software used to handle the live broadcast. However I hope you will forgive us because the content was simply excellent.

Shownotes:

  • What are the greatest pitfalls to primary flight training?
  • What about secondary flight training?
  • When have as pilot"arrived" and no longer needs training?
  • Where do pilots go next? PPL, Instrument, Commercial, CFI, Multi, Tailwheel, Seaplane, CFII, MEI, ATP ... then what? Balloon? Glider? Astronaut?

Shoutouts:

  • ForeFlight Mobile 3 HD
  • 1940 Air Terminal Museum
  • Acro Camp
