Mon, 27 July 2009 Will and David record their second face-to-face podcast from EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2009. This is David's first visit to AirVenture and only Will's second. We talk to Rod Rakic of myTranspoder.com, spend some time regathering our thoughts as passing airplanes distract us, and chat about some of Rod's interactions with the Civil Air Patrol. Join us at the end of the week when we take back to the airwaves for our second AirVenture episode of The Pilot's Flight PodLog live from the deck of EAA Radio. As always, feel free to contact us at pilotsflightpodlog@gmail.com to leave us feedback or be a guest. Rock your wings! Comments[0] |

Fri, 24 July 2009 This week, we welcome Damon into the virtual hangar. Despite some serious technical issues, we were able to have a great time in the virtual hangar. Damon talks about some of his early flying along with his current training for his instrument and commercial ratings. We also talk about the fast-approaching EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2009 event in Wisconsin. After this show was recorded, David got confirmation that he would, in fact, be attending AirVenture 2009. This episode of The Pilot's Flight PodLog was actually uploaded from the grounds of KOSH. Also, Will and David will be recording two episodes from the deck of EAA Radio. The first will be on Sunday, July 26th at 3pm. The second will be on Saturday, August 1st at or about 7:15pm. Come see us record the show, or if you can't attend AirVenture, listen to us live on the EAA Radio stream. Shownotes:
